Woodpecker at Lake Vyrnwy

I can often hear woodpeckers long before I see them, hammering away at an oak tree in spring, but I was lucky enough to get a picture of this one whilst out walking in the winter months around Lake Vyrnwy. I had to make a drawing of it, such a striking beautiful bird with its long bill and distinct colouring.

Supplied as a limited edition pen and ink drawing, one of 150 editions, individually numbered and signed by hand.
